Music: Will you buy Karaoke CDG’s? That can run up a hefty bill. Who’s operating the karaoke machine? Are you buying or renting? If you rent...then you have to make Sure no one spills their drink on the machine! |

What music do you have? Do you have enough to make sure ALL Your guests are entertained? Or do you plan on just playing the music YOU like? Do you know how to read your crowd? Whether it’s time to play a slow one, or a fast one? An I pod certainly can’t read a crowd. |

What kind of speakers will be used? Where would you place your speakers so your crowd can hear an even volume? Do you have an amplifier? What about speaker wires? Would you need the RCA’s, quarter inch, mono stereo plugs? Do you have a mixer? |

Boom boxes, but most especially I Pods are all the rage now. If you’re a Do-it-yourselfer and think you can DJ at your own party or best friend Bob next door can bring his CD’s over and he can play DJ...I hope it works well. |

Are you Setting it up yourself? Do you have microphones , speakers, mixers, books? Seriously...if you are planning on renting or buying a karaoke machine….it all adds up...insurance….liability….cost of equipment...it can literally cost you! Plus the headache of having to operate the machine yourself.. |
